City Hats is a photographic exploration of identity, belonging, and self-expression through the quiet language of hats. Comprising 1,000 photographs made across 27 cities in 12 countries, the collection reveals how people use what they wear on their heads — crafted, improvised, or symbolic — to define who they are and the groups they belong to.

Framed in a 16:9 ratio, each work evokes a cinematic moment — like a character entering the frame with nothing but the story ahead. This approach transforms posture, gesture, and headwear into a visual language of individuality and presence.

Each photograph includes a detailed set of traits, allowing collectors to explore the collection by country, city, hat style, color, material, and more. These traits not only highlight the diversity within the series but also reveal how rare or unique each piece is. Among them are Hero Hats, one-of-a-kind portraits with no counterparts in the collection, and Omar’s Grails, a personal curation of works that hold special resonance — visually, emotionally, or through the story each hat seems to tell.
